Jeff Brothers

Jeff Brothers is the CEO and founder of VetGrow Inc, a company focused on healing, connection, and personal growth through nature-based approaches.1 He has been leading VetGrow since December 2017, based in the Salinas, California area.1

VetGrow was initially created to assist veterans with job training and skills development, but evolved to address trauma-related challenges that affected veterans' employment. The company now focuses on growing San Pedro cactus and building community around plant-based and other healing modalities.1

Before VetGrow, Jeff had a diverse career:

1. Renewable energy sector:

   • President of Sol Orchard, LLC (2009-2024), developing solar power projects1
   • President of Sovereign Energy Storage, LLC (2012-2016), developing utility-scale energy storage projects1

2. Banking:

   • Founding chairman of 1st Capital Bank1

3. Cannabis industry:

   • CEO of FLRish, Inc. (2015-2017), a B Corp focused on the cannabis industry in California1

4. Cut flower industry:

   • President of Monterey Bay Bouquet (1993-2001), which helped develop Costco's cut flower program1

Jeff describes himself as a "Champion of Sustainability" and has been a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) for many years.1 He holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Claremont McKenna College.1
