Jeewoo Chung

Jeewoo Chung is a current high school grade 12 student with a keen interest in software engineering and business.

Originally from Seoul, Korea, Jeewoo moved to Vancouver, Canada 8 years ago and has since been focusing on computer programming, software development, and algorithms for about 5 years.

With a passion for problem-solving and a knack for creativity, Jeewoo excels in Physics, finding it to be his favorite subject.

Having set his sights on a future in the tech industry, Jeewoo is planning to attend the University of Waterloo to pursue a degree in Software Engineering and aims to secure a software developer co-op position on the West Coast as part of his career preparation.

Throughout his academic journey, Jeewoo Chung has been actively involved in various organizations, holding roles such as Analytics Coordinator at Hack+Policy Foundation, Founder/President (WGSS Branch) at Hack Club, and many more.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Jeewoo has gained diverse experiences, from being a Ski Instructor at Sasquatch Mountain Resort to working as Kitchen Staff at Second Wave Cafe and Server at Tokyo Garden Japanese Restaurant.
