Jedda Foreman
Partnering for a liberated environmental learning field
Jedda Foreman is a dedicated educator with a strong focus on place-based and experiential education, aiming to integrate design thinking into schools for inclusive and culturally relevant learning experiences.
Jedda holds an MBA in Design Strategy from the California College of the Arts, a Graduate Certificate in Place-based and Field-Science Education with a focus on Ecology from the Teton Science School, and a BA in Psychology and Education from Carleton College.
With a wealth of experience in various roles at the Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley, Jedda has served as the Director of the Center for Environmental Learning, Program Co-Director for the BEETLES Project, Director of Environmental Literacy Programs, Project Director for AEIEE Grant, and Lead Facilitator for ChangeScale.
Jedda's professional journey also includes positions such as Urban Instructor at Outward Bound California, Development Director at Bolinas Stinson Summer Camp, Program Manager at The Quality of Life Foundation, and Program Assistant at Teton Science Schools.
With a diverse background, Jedda has worked as a Presenter at the Matthew Shepard Symposium for Social Justice, Educational Intern and Farmhand at Tieton Farm and Creamery, Field Instructor at Teton Science Schools, Research Assistant at Playworks, Volunteer Teacher at Bolinas-Stinson School, and Instructor at Bolinas-Stinson Summer Camp.
