Jean-Sebastien Dufault is a seasoned entrepreneur, leader, and administrator with over 15 years of experience. He also works as a business development and strategic orientation consultant for nearly 5 years.
With a diverse background, Jean-Sébastien is known for his creative and communicative nature, being the driving force behind numerous successes in artistic, real estate, financial, and entrepreneurial ventures.
He started his career as a skilled drummer, playing for renowned artists like Bob Walsh, Martin Deschamps, Ariane Moffatt, and others, following his education at the prestigious Musicians Institute of Hollywood in California.
Simultaneously pursuing his interests in investments, Jean-Sébastien acquired his real estate brokerage license in 2004 and quickly became one of the top real estate salespeople in his region. He later expanded his influence by leading a team of nearly 75 brokers after acquiring a real estate franchise.
Building on his experiences, he successfully raised a multimillion-dollar capital round to establish Faltour, a technology-driven real estate company. Under his leadership, Faltour became the first government-accredited company to introduce paperless real estate brokerage services, setting an industry standard nationwide until its sale in 2016.
Currently, Jean-Sébastien undertakes strategic development and business structuring assignments for various firms, including Appollo Music Store (Bopper Music), Hausvalet, E.S.A., QC Musique, Phaneuf International, M'Pact, Pixel d’Étoile, among others. He specializes in growth, impact management, and offers valuable insights as a seasoned entrepreneur, particularly in sales, mergers, acquisitions, and equity restructuring projects.
Committed to fostering entrepreneurial growth, he collaborates with accelerators and incubators such as La Piscine, Développement Économique Longueuil, and Espace-inc to support and enhance budding ecosystems.
