Jean Ooi

Jean Ooi is an expert in international education and counseling, with extensive experience in program management, academic direction, and counseling both in the United States and abroad. She holds a Master's in School Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University and a BBA in Management Information Systems and Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin. Ooi has worked as an Assistant Director and Program Coordinator at Texas Global at the University of Texas at Austin, as well as in managerial roles at International Studies Abroad, New Oasis International Education, and Thread, Inc. She gained her skills in counseling while working as a counseling intern at Fairfax County Public Schools, and her business analysis skills were honed while working as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
As a program manager and academic director, Ooi has led teams in creating study abroad programs for students in various locations around the world. Her expertise lies in providing international education opportunities for students and establishing partnerships with universities abroad. Additionally, Ooi has experience in college admissions counseling and has worked at the National Association for College Admission Counseling as a Student Assistant and Intern.
