Jean-Christophe Baillie

Jean-Christophe Baillie is a prominent figure in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, known as the Founder of Novaquark, the company behind Dual Universe, a groundbreaking next-gen metaverse. He served as the former Chief Science Officer of Aldebaran Robotics (Softbank Robotics) where he led the AI Lab. Baillie also founded and was CEO of Gostai, a company focused on robotics solutions, which was later acquired by Aldebaran/Softbank.

His expertise spans across Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Startups, Virtual Reality, Social VR, Business Development, Computer Vision, Humanoid Robotics, and Software Architecture. Baillie holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Pierre and Marie Curie University, an Engineering degree in Physics and Computer Science from Ecole Polytechnique, and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision from Sony CSL / University of Paris 6.
