Jaynish Hazari
Doctoral Student in Clinical Psychology
Jaynish Hazari is a highly educated professional with a diverse academic background. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Education & Promotion from the University of Southern California (USC) and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at Loma Linda University Medical Center, with a focus on integrating health, behavioral theory, and clinical skills for assessing and treating psychological distress and cognitive impairment.
Expected to graduate and be licensed as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology in June 2023, Jaynish aims to practice in integrated rehabilitation and medical care settings, specializing in Neuropsychological Evaluation. His passion lies in promoting neuropsychological and cognitive function, as well as personal development, among patients regardless of chronic conditions.
With a strong interest in developing and implementing innovative psychological, health education, and integrated primary care models, Jaynish is dedicated to addressing modern population issues. By tailoring programs through research, practice, and collaboration, he emphasizes a patient-centered approach to improve healthcare outcomes.
Throughout his career, Jaynish Hazari has held various roles in organizations, including being an Abstract Reviewer at the American Public Health Association and serving in positions such as Coordinated Entry System (CES) Service Matcher at St. Joseph Center, Demographic & Health Surveyor at USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, and Transitional Care Intern at Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach. He has also contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at Keck Medicine of USC and held leadership positions at San Diego State University and YMCA of San Diego County.
