Jayne Dearborn

Jayne Dearborn is a successful entrepreneur and experienced leader with a diverse background in business, non-profit, and healthcare. She is best known for co-founding Portland Electric Boat Company, a 100% green business that rents electric boats on the Willamette River in Portland. Prior to this, she founded the Blue Butterfly Campaign, a non-profit that aimed to prevent sex trafficking among minors. She also successfully managed her own luxury handbag brand, JayneMax.

Jayne has a Master of Public Health degree in Public Health Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from California State University, Long Beach. She gained extensive international business experience as a design and product development consultant, where she oversaw sourcing, price negotiations, product execution, and quality inspection.

She has excellent leadership, interpersonal, management, and communication skills, which allows her to build consensus and deliver results effectively. Her tenacity and resilience combined with her focus on collaboration have helped her succeed in both non-profit and profit settings. Her proficiency in strategic planning, analysis, and team performance optimization has been honed over seven plus years of working in management positions.

In recognition of her achievements, Jayne was featured in MORE magazine's published book, "297 Ways to Reinvent Yourself", as one of their "50 women to watch". She has worked as a health educator at Portland General Electric, Kaiser Permanente, and Unocal.
