Jayde Tynes

Jayde Tynes is an experienced journalist with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of King's College and a Master's degree in Journalism with a focus on data and investigative reporting from the same institution. With a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry, Jayde's work is governed by CBC journalistic and programming policies and standards. She has worked as a Reporter and Web Writer at CBC, a Freelance Reporter at Toronto Star, a Podcast Host and Producer at CKDU 88.1 FM, and a Freelance Writer at The Coast, Halifax's Weekly Newspaper. She has also worked as a Digital Communications Assistant at Global Justice Now, a Diversity and Outreach Programming Coordinator at CKDU 88.1 FM, a Project Manager/Policy Analyst at Ecology Action Centre, an Operations Coordinator at GRIT Limited, a Marketing Coordinator at Dalhousie University, a Program Coordinator (Intern) at Halifax Regional Municipality, and a Research/Office Assistant (Intern) at Dalhousie University. She is currently an Associate Producer at the National Film Board of Canada, where she participates in the production, direction, and/or post-production of a program and/or program segment while performing reporting and editorial assignments related to the gathering, writing, and presentation of program material for radio, television, or other media.
