Jaycilyn Reid is a highly educated and experienced medical professional with a diverse academic background. She earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Washington State University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Pre-Medicine, magna cum laude, from Occidental College. Reid has also completed temporary enrollment and Associate of Arts programs at various institutions, including Spokane Falls Community College and the University of Washington's Summer Medical and Dental Education Program.
Reid has held several medical assistant and data research roles throughout her career, including at Northwest Spine and Pain Medicine and Cognitive Aging and Dementia Lab, respectively. She has also worked as a medical scribe and a summer health professions education program ambassador at Kaiser Permanente Washington and the Association of American Medical Colleges, respectively. Reid has engaged in research as an undergraduate researcher at Occidental College and as an Amgen Scholar at The Picower Institute for Learning & Memory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In addition to her academic achievements, Reid has worked as a Carl's Jr. crew member and a library resource sharing assistant at Occidental College.
