Jayastu Bhattacharya is a seasoned fintech professional with a diverse background in corporate and startup environments, specializing in domestic and global e-commerce, banking, cross border payments, and finance.

His career journey includes significant roles at Citigroup, where he started at Citi Cards and transitioned into various positions such as business manager, corporate venture capitalist, and leading strategy and business development for Citigroup Innovation.

Fueled by his experience during the late 90s Internet boom and bust, Jayastu possesses a unique perspective on growth opportunities, particularly in the realms of social and mobile commerce.

With a focus on innovation, strategic investments, and customer-centric values, Jayastu works diligently to identify and capitalize on opportunities that may go unnoticed by traditional operators.

Having co-founded and led companies like Mobile Money Ventures, Jayastu has demonstrated a knack for successful ventures, including implementations with renowned institutions like Citigroup and partnerships with industry giants like Intuit/Digital Insight.

An alumnus of New York University with a BS in Economics and Stuyvesant High School with a diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science, Jayastu combines finance, tech, and consumer insights to drive his ventures forward.

His vast organizational involvement ranges from advisory roles at LianLian Global, DITEC Ventures, and Thirstie to founding and leading companies like OpenTransact, Nuna Network, and Capture Media, Inc., among others.

Currently, Jayastu is focusing on expanding Lianlian's global presence to the US and beyond while actively working on his own startup projects like Zipmark and Capture, in addition to collaborations with prominent fintech companies like Deposit Solutions.
