Jayant Jain

Jayant Jain is a seasoned professional in risk management and finance, with over 18 years of experience. He served as the Chief of Internal Vigilance at BNP Paribas from February 2020 to December 2022, a role mandated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). In this capacity, he was responsible for investigating frauds, conducting periodic fraud reviews, providing anti-fraud training to staff, and ensuring regulatory reporting to authorities like RBI and SFIO. He also reported to the Audit Committee and Management Committee during his tenure.12

Prior to this, he held various leadership roles at BNP Paribas, including Head of RISK ORM CIB India, where he managed operational risk and anti-fraud initiatives. His earlier experience includes roles in risk management at BNP Paribas Asset Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management.12

Jayant Jain holds multiple prestigious qualifications:

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute (USA),
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certified by GARP,
• Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

He also earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.12 Currently, he is the Chief Risk Officer at ASK Asset & Wealth Management, a position he has held since March 2024.1
