Jay Sivagnaname

Jay Sivagnaname is an accomplished logic designer and researcher with a wealth of experience in managing the entire VLSI flow, covering both ASIC and general-purpose design, from initial stages through validation.

With a robust educational background, Jay pursued his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Pondicherry Engineering College, followed by a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University. He further advanced his education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering at the prestigious University of Michigan.

Throughout his career, Jay has held key positions in reputable organizations. He served as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan and later transitioned to roles at IBM, where he contributed as a Research Staff Member. Additionally, Jay has significant experience at NXP Semiconductors, where he held the positions of Senior Design Engineer and then Principal Engineer.

Jay's expertise encompasses managing complex VLSI processes, demonstrating his proficiency in ASIC and general-purpose design. His professional journey reflects a commitment to innovation and excellence in the field of electrical engineering and logic design.
