Jay Shah, DO, MS is a highly educated individual with a diverse background in medicine, healthcare administration, and biomedical sciences. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in both Economics and Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Jay went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University in Illinois, as well as a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in Healthcare Administration from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Currently, Jay is an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at Saint Louis University, where he is developing his clinical skills and continuing his training.

In addition to his medical pursuits, Jay has gained valuable experience through various internships, part-time jobs, and volunteer positions. During his time as a medical student at Midwestern University, he served as a Client Experience Intern at Emerge Medical Data Intelligence, where he assisted in developing online tools that help clinicians navigate the complexities of healthcare data. Jay also worked as an Athletic Training Aide at Fighting Illini Sports Medicine, where he provided support for the University of Illinois athletics program. As an Academic Tutor at the University of Illinois, Jay helped students succeed in a wide range of subjects, and as an Undergraduate Researcher for Renal and Cardiovascular Disease at the same university, he contributed to innovative research projects that could improve healthcare outcomes.

Jay's experience working as a marketer for Gizmo Productions, LLC, and as a Campus Influencer for Spotify shows that he has a deep interest in marketing and communications, which could complement his medical training in the future. Additionally, Jay's time as a head camp counselor at Northbrook Park District and his volunteer work at NorthShore University HealthSystem demonstrate his commitment to serving his community and improving individuals' quality of life.
