Jay Scheib is an internationally renowned director, designer, and author of plays, operas, and live art events.13 Born in Shenandoah, Iowa, he is known for his genre-defying performances and integration of new technologies in live performances.13
Scheib is currently a Professor for Music and Theater Arts at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).23 He has received numerous accolades, including:
- Named Best New York Theater Director by Time Out New York in 200913
