Jay Mulakala

Jay Mulakala is the Director of Solutions Engineering at DroneDeploy, a company specializing in drone software for various industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His career began as a Co-Founder of SnoHassle in 2013, and he has held various roles including Project Manager for high-altitude weather balloon missions and Art Director & Web Developer at Yellow Box.

In 2015, Mulakala joined Accenture as an Aerospace & Defense Technology Analyst, later becoming a Consultant. He transitioned to Kespry in 2017 as a Product Manager before joining DroneDeploy in 2018. At DroneDeploy, he started as an Enterprise Sales Engineer and progressed through several managerial roles to become the Director of Solutions Engineering. Additionally, he is a leadership member of the PreSales Collective, focusing on enhancing the role of PreSales professionals globally.

Mulakala has also engaged in various research projects, including nuclear engineering at Universidad Pontificia Comillas and has interned at ISAE-SUPAERO. His certifications include CORe in Business Administration from Harvard Business School Online and several specialized training programs related to sales and drone operations.
