Jay Kietzman

Jay Kietzman is a skilled UX Researcher and Designer with a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. With a diverse background that includes over a decade of experience in the performing arts and service industry, Jay brings a unique blend of technical expertise and soft skills to his work.

His academic background in Anthropology has honed his research and analytical abilities, while his HCI training has equipped him to apply a user-centered design approach. Jay excels in ethnographic research, qualitative and quantitative UX research, usability testing, data analysis, wireframing, and prototyping.

Known for his emotional intelligence, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to thrive both independently and in a team setting, Jay values interpersonal interactions, observation, and active listening in his work. With a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, Jay is keen on further developing his career and skills.

Throughout his professional journey, Jay has held roles such as UX Researcher at Microsoft, User Experience Researcher at BUNDLAR and MSTQ, UX Consultant as a freelancer, Public Programs Intern at the National Hellenic Museum, and Teacher's Assistant at DePaul University. His extensive experience in various organizations has enriched his expertise and perspective in the field of UX research and design.
