Jay Ashe

Jay Ashe is a talented software engineer who has spent years refining his expertise in creating innovative customer-facing applications. With a background in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia, Jay has since been working on several exciting projects, from developing a custom e-commerce platform that handles thousands of orders daily to leading product teams in creating new solutions for modern businesses. He has extensive experience as a Full Stack Engineer and a Software Engineer at Cvent, where he worked his way up to Software Engineer II while also being a Software Development Intern at the same company.

Most notably, Jay worked as the team lead for App Engineering at CAVA, where he led the product team responsible for developing and iterating on a custom e-commerce platform for a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant chain. During his time at CAVA, he processed thousands of orders a day, ensuring that the customer journey is smooth, efficient and enjoyable. Currently, Jay is focused on building something new at Poppy, where he is the Director Of Engineering.
