Javier Izquierdo

Javier Izquierdo is a prominent legal professional with over 20 years of experience in litigation and arbitration.35 He was previously a partner at Pérez-Llorca, where he worked from March 2018 to September 2023.2 Izquierdo specializes in civil and commercial litigation, financial sector cases, insurance, construction, and arbitration proceedings.36

In July 2023, Izquierdo joined Squire Patton Boggs as a partner and head of the Litigation team in their Madrid office.14 He advises both national and international clients on various judicial and arbitration proceedings, including matters before institutions such as the International Chamber of Commerce of Paris (ICC), the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).1

Izquierdo holds a law degree from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas – ICADE and is a lecturer on civil and business law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.1 He is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2004.1
