Javier Davalos

Javier Davalos is an accomplished programmer and designer with experience in creating cutting-edge AR/VR projects and AAA games. With a deep passion for innovation and excellence, Javier has demonstrated his skills throughout his career, and his work has been recognized by prominent companies in the industry. He is the Lead Developer/Designer of Figmin XR, an AR platform for creating, collecting, and playing with holograms, and has received a major Magic Leap Grant to develop this project.

Javier has also worked as a full-stack programmer for the AAA MMORPG game RIFT and acted as the software architect and game designer of the #1 iPhone game Cars 2, where he programmed the entire gameplay and the physics framework. Additionally, he invented the floating virtual gamepad used in many mobile games today.

His primary areas of expertise include AR/VR development on platforms such as Magic Leap, Hololens, and Oculus, AAA game development, and iPhone game development. He is proficient in C/C++/C#/Objective C/Java, Unity 3D, Photon Networking, physics, and Vuforia. Moreover, he possesses knowledge of OpenGL ES, OpenGL Shading Language, neural networks, NodeJS, jQuery, Javascript, CSS, HTML, SQL (Oracle, DB2, MySQL), Azure, Spring MVC, and ASM Linux kernel programming.
