Javier Campillo is an accomplished professional with a background in Electronic Engineering, specializing in instrumentation systems, power electronics, simulation and modeling, and energy systems. He has extensive experience in communication systems, remote sensing, and energy management systems for industrial applications.
Currently serving as an associate professor at Tecnológica de Bolívar University in Cartagena, Colombia, Javier focuses on power electronics and renewable integration with the existing grid. His work involves modeling, simulation, and implementing pilot projects to advance these areas. He brings a wealth of expertise in energy management standards and energy information systems.
Javier's educational journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy and Environment, as well as a Master's in Energy Engineering from Mälardalen University. He also holds a Minor in Communication Networks and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, where he graduated with honors from Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar.
Throughout his career, Javier has been associated with prestigious organizations like Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar, where he currently holds the position of Associate Professor. Previously, he was engaged in various roles such as a PhD student at the EST Department at Mälardalen University, Research Projects Management, Lecturer, and Researcher at the same university, as well as a Projects Engineer at Atarraya S.A.
