Jason Barnosky

Jason Thomas Barnosky is a senior political scientist at the RAND Corporation with expertise in homeland security and emergency management policy. He has a strong background in government service and policy analysis, having held positions at renowned institutions such as the George Washington University Center for Cyber & Homeland Security, the Brookings Institution, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Jason has a wealth of experience in the field, having served as a Senior Fellow, Nonresident Scholar, senior advisor, and consultant in various capacities related to homeland security and emergency management. His roles have involved working on critical issues such as the Boston Marathon bombing, Hurricane Sandy, FEMA’s preparedness for catastrophes, and the management of grants at FEMA.
