Jason Tenenbaum

Jason Tenenbaum is currently the Senior Manager and Deputy Program Manager for the Starship Human Landing System at SpaceX. He has a strong background in aerospace engineering, having graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2007. Tenenbaum began his career at Lockheed Martin as a systems engineer before joining SpaceX, where he has held various roles over the years.

In his early tenure at SpaceX, he was involved in developing the space suit for the Dragon spacecraft and later served as the lead crew operations engineer for missions to the International Space Station (ISS). His responsibilities have included managing space operations development and acting as the Dragon mission director. Since November 2018, he has been a senior manager focused on advancing space operations and ensuring successful missions.12

Tenenbaum's work emphasizes close collaboration with NASA to meet safety and operational requirements for space missions. He has expressed pride in being part of a talented team that tackles the challenges of spacecraft development and testing.12
