Jason Tejada

Jason Tejada is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the Executive Director and Co-Head of Municipal Syndicate at Morgan Stanley, a position he has held since January 2023. In this role, he is responsible for originating, structuring, underwriting, marketing, pricing, and syndicating various forms of debt in the municipal and broader fixed income markets. His expertise spans multiple sectors including public sector financing, infrastructure, project finance, housing, real estate development, and structured credit.1

Prior to his current role, Tejada held several key positions at Morgan Stanley:

• Executive Director (January 2022 - February 2023): Led the Credit Structuring and Underwriting for the Municipal Lending group, focusing on private and public solutions for borrowers and investors.
• Vice President (February 2021 - January 2022): Worked in Municipal Lending, Structuring, and Capital Solutions.
• Vice President (January 2019 - August 2021): Headed Credit and Investor Marketing within the Municipal Syndicate and Public Finance team.1

Tejada's career began with Build America Mutual, where he served as an Associate and later as a Vice President, gaining extensive experience in underwriting and public finance. He has also completed internships at notable firms such as JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Goldman Sachs during his early career.1

In terms of education, Tejada is a graduate of Columbia University, where he received recognition for his leadership and academic excellence. He was also the valedictorian of All Hallows High School.1
