Jason Sydow

Jason Sydow is a seasoned venture capitalist and investor currently serving as a Partner at Next47, the venture capital arm of Siemens, based in Palo Alto, California. He specializes in investments in B2B software, advanced manufacturing, industrial technologies, and decarbonization solutions. At CarbonCapture Inc., a climate tech company focused on direct air capture (DAC) technology to remove CO2 from the atmosphere, he acts as an Investor and Board Observer.123

Sydow has an extensive career spanning over two decades in venture capital, corporate governance, and technical product strategy. Before joining Next47 in 2017, he was a Partner at QuestMark Partners and held leadership roles at Arizona State University's tech transfer office and EaglePicher Technologies. Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.123

Academically, Sydow holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University, an M.Phil. from the University of Strathclyde as a Marshall Scholar, and a B.S. from the University of Virginia.12
