Jason Sobol, Co-Head of U.S. Investment Banking at Evercore

Jason Sobol is the co-head of Investment Banking, U.S., and a member of the Management Committee at Evercore Partners.1 He focuses on advising companies in the information, software, media and marketing sectors.1

• Advising Reorg on its sale to Permira
• Advising CoreLogic on its sale to Stone Point and Insight Partners
• Advising Neustar on its sale to TransUnion
• Advising Appriss Insights on its sale to Equifax

• Advising J.D. Power on its sale to Thoma Bravo
• Advising IRI on its merger with NPD1

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Sobol was vice president of acquisitions for the Davis Companies and a principal of the Davis family's venture fund, Stone Canyon Venture Partners.1 Earlier in his career, he was senior director of business development for LAUNCH.com, which was acquired by Yahoo!, and a member of the M&A group of Goldman Sachs & Co.1

He earned a B.A. with honors in economics from Harvard University.1
