Jason Schwartz

Jason Schwartz is a resourceful and results-driven supply chain professional with a background in project management, focusing on warehouse operations and manufacturing engineering.

Currently working at GE Power Schenectady Campus, Jason is dedicated to driving cost reductions and implementing lean process improvements in the turbine and generator product lines.

With 4.5 years of experience at Cummins Inc. prior to his current role, Jason has honed his analytical and communication skills in manufacturing engineering and shop floor operations, where he significantly improved processes and reduced costs.

Having started at Walton, Kentucky Distribution Center as an Operations Supervisor in October 2017, Jason led a 20-person team responsible for safety, productivity, and cost efficiency in the receiving department during the 2nd shift.

In addition to his operational responsibilities, he served as the Community Involvement Site Leader for the facility, actively supporting numerous events and achieving high participation rates in the Cummins 'Every Employee Every Community' Program.

Jason also has a history of community engagement, having secured two Cummins community grants totaling $17k for local charitable partners.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, complemented by studies at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
