Jason Majid

Jason Majid is a highly accomplished and experienced lawyer, currently serving as the Vice-President, General Counsel, and Chief Privacy Officer at Concentra Bank. Jason has spent over 11 years working in the Arabian Gulf, where he was recognized as one of the world's best lawyers in Chambers Global. He has held various senior positions across different law firms, including serving as Partner at Clyde & Co, Senior Associate, Corporate at Simmons & Simmons, and Head of Iraq Law Practice at Al Tamimi & Company. Jason has also worked as Legal Counsel at Belhoul Group, Hicks Morley Law Firm, and as a Summer Associate at Canadian Occidental Petroleum.

Jason holds a Juris Doctor degree from Queen's University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary. He has also studied Business Administration, completing a Master's degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

Throughout his career, Jason has worked with different financial institutions and has been instrumental in winning the first-ever appointment for the law firm panel of a financial institution in Qatar. He has also been involved in several significant projects, including the establishment of the first branch of a foreign law firm in Baghdad after the 2003 Iraq war.
