Jason Knowles

Jason Knowles is the Founder and President of Hard Target Security Group, Ltd Co., with a background as a former U.S. Marine Corps Primary Marksmanship Instructor and M1A1 Abrams Tank Commander.

Beginning his career in 1995 as an instructor in small arms and marksmanship for the Marine Corps, Jason has a decorated history, including winning the Top Tank position for the 8th Tank Battalion and achieving awards like the Navy Achievement Medals.

Transitioning to specialize in SWAT operations, Jason participated in international competitions as both a Sniper and an Entry Operator, showcasing his diverse skill set.

In 2002, he became a Special Agent for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, eventually taking on leadership roles within the organization, including serving as the Sniper Team Leader.

With over 18 years of SWAT experience, Jason has been involved in numerous high-risk operations, making countless arrests. Furthermore, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and boasts over 20 years of law enforcement experience in various capacities.

Jason has a rich instructional background, having been appointed as the Team's Training Coordinator for the Spec Ops team and Chief Instructor for all High Liability topics in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

He has actively contributed to the law enforcement field by serving on curriculum development committees and providing expert testimony on the Use of Force in legal proceedings, reflecting his deep expertise in the domain.

Currently, Jason serves as a Special Agent Supervisor in the FDLE high tech cyber crime unit, showcasing his continued dedication to law enforcement and security operations.
