Jason Jaacks is a documentary filmmaker and photographer with a passion for the natural world, having traveled to five continents capturing its beauty, from Bristol Bay's rivers to Mexico's Mayan forest and Indonesia's coral reefs.

He is a National Geographic Explorer and holds a Master of Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, complementing his earlier education in Documentary Studies at Santa Fe University of Art and Design and Colorado Film School.
