Jason Burton is an accomplished urban planner with over 25 years of experience, currently serving as the Assistant City Planning Division Manager for the City of Orlando.

In his role, Jason has overseen various land development projects and initiatives, including managing the City's zoning regulations, land development process, vision plans, and new code amendments.

With a background in transportation planning, site development, and architecture, Jason's career has focused on higher density infill, mixed-use, and transit-oriented developments that embody New Urbanist design principles.

Jason holds a degree in Regional Planning and Analysis from the University of California at Davis and has a keen interest in Creative Placemaking, where arts, economic development, and urban planning intersect.

Prior to his current position, Jason gained valuable experience in urban planning and redevelopment roles in San Jose, California, known as the 'Capital of Silicon Valley'.
