Jason Best is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the fintech industry, serving as the co-founder and Managing Partner of Vectr Fintech Partners (VFP) based in San Francisco and Singapore.
He has a strong background in fintech policy and regulation, having worked in over 40 countries with various financial regulators, government ministries, and multi-lateral organizations, along with a successful track record of investments and exits in the fintech sector.
Jason is renowned for his contributions to crowdfund investing, having co-founded Crowdfund Capital Advisors (CCA) and played a key role in developing the CrowdFund Investment Framework utilized by the President in passing the Jobs Act to legalize crowdfund investing in the US.
He is actively involved in academia as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at UC Berkeley's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, where he co-founded the UC Berkeley Program for Innovation in Entrepreneurial and Social Finance.
Furthermore, Jason has been instrumental in establishing global crowdfunding associations such as the Crowdfunding Professional Association (CfPA) and the CrowdFunding Intermediary Regulatory Advocates (CFIRA).
Prior to his work in crowdfunding, Jason's background includes building and leading Software as a Service (SAAS) companies, where he significantly contributed to revenue growth and organizational development.
