+ Manage a portfolio of over 12 simultaneous zero to 1 SaaS build projects, from scoping to launch, with a total revenue of over $400,000, and maintain an average client NPS of 9.2 / 10

+ Conduct in-depth scoping calls with clients, identify and determine the feasibility of API integrations, and produce development-ready requirement documents to deliver on project goals

+ Collaborate with design, engineering and QA teams to create high-fidelity mockups, and deliver launch-ready, responsive SaaS MVPs on-time, and within a fixed client budget

+ Successfully launched complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS applications, including geolocation, MLS real estate listings search, in-app messaging, social network endorsements, invoice generation and approval, and file storage, sharing & management platforms

Everyone needs insurance - but buying it, managing it, and even *using it* is generally a pretty awful experience that everyone hates (-_-' )

I led a team of insurance, data, and UX experts that built the world's first Client Experience Platform (CXP) for independent insurance agents, to eliminate the friction and confusion that plagues so much of the insurance process, and foster friendlier relationships between agents, and their clients. 

Some of the highlights:

 + Researched, defined, and delivered a product roadmap for SaaS data aggregation platform, B2C mobile apps, and enterprise integrations.
 + Oversaw the development and launch of several major feature releases and product upgrades to 100k+ users.
 + Coordinated activity across UX, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, leading to record-setting 6-digit monthly revenue.
 + Led C-suite in defining company-wide culture, values, and top-level OKRs to guide the overall business strategy.
 + Established a company-wide wiki and documentation processes, enabling ongoing asynchronous collaboration.

As the Product Lead, I architected and improved the feature development pipeline for ZoomShift, an industry-leading employee time tracking SaaS and mobile app platform. 

Some of the highlights during my time there included:

+ Accelerated our average new feature time-to-market by ~8-12X, while minimizing bugs and significant customer support issues - we went from shipping 2-3 features per year, to a regular release cadence of 1-2 marketable new features per month
+ Achieved an all-time high in MRR and customer retention, growing to over 1,000 B2B customers, including Walgreens, and Ace Hardware
+ Defining a customer research-backed product roadmap extending for four quarters, with demonstrable market demand
+ Leading an enterprise data integration project with ADP, a global leader in enterprise payroll software 

All of this was achieved with a distributed team of 5-7 hardworking folks, spanning a dozen timezones, from San Diego, CA to Lahore, Pakistan!

ZoomShift

Product Lead

[Voalte was acquired by Hillrom (NYSE: HRC) in May 2019 for $200m] 

+ Lead remote product, engineering, sales and marketing teams distributed across 10 timezones through the creation and launch of Voalte Insight, a communications analytics tool for hospitals. 

+ Designed & ran user research workshops at VUE2018, an annual user conference for 200 healthcare executives.

+ Built a scalable user feedback analysis system that captures and automatically categorizes comments and feature requests from over 200,000 users.

+ Drove market and user research into product features to raise usage among doctors, a critical audience for business expansion.

Software Product Manager

[Telepathy was acquired by ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) in Oct 2017] 

I started at Telepathy as a Product Manager, and worked my way up to Director of Products & Marketing. During that time, we created several products from early concept validation and customer development, right through to monetization, scaling and exit. Past products I worked on include Hello Bar (acquired by Neil Patel and Hiten Shah at Crazy Egg), SlideDeck 2, Flare & Filament, reaching a total of over 150,000 users.

Filament was a particularly memorable ride. We taught ourselves how to build, launch and monetize this web content analytics platform in under a year, with only 3 people, blindfolded (just kidding–sometimes it was 4 people). Filament was acquired by the awesome folks at ShareThis, right before I left - quite the note to end on!

Altogether, our products have been used by almost a million people, and viewed billions of times to date.

Other miscellaneous facts: I co-hosted DT tv, a design & technology talk show we shot in our office. It was fun, we called it “the design industry happy hour”. You should watch an episode in the Publications section down below! 

Finally, I led company-wide workshops on our goals and product strategy to gain alignment across all our employees.

I solved marketing problems for my clients, usually through the use of unique and effective websites, emails, logos, printed pieces and illustrations, but sometimes just with a good conversation, too. 

I leveraged my experience as an integrated marketing strategist for brands like Royal Caribbean, KB Toys, Fidelity Investments and Subway, to help passionate small business owners and entrepreneurs who wanted to effectively market to their customers.

JaffyDesigns

Marketing Consultant

Strategized and executed integrated online advertising/print campaign for Brookfield Homes’ Calabria community, generating over $8.5 million in sales within 6 months.

Concepted and relaunched website for San Diego's preeminent morning radio show, Jeff & Jer (www.jeffandjer.com) in 2 weeks. Redesign incorporates a multimedia blog and streaming video show, "Live from Jerry's Garage", that invites realtime audience participation via Twitter and attracts ~5,800 viewers/week.

Led the development and rollout of an Addy-award-winning integrated interactive/outdoor media campaign for San Diego Hospice; campaign credited with driving highest patient population in organization’s 33-year history.

Account Supervisor

Led a simultaneous holiday ecard campaign launch and website redesign for Fidelity FutureStage (www.FutureStage.com), the arts philanthropy arm of Fidelity Investments. 50,000 flash ecards sent within 4 weeks, and site traffic increased by over 2,000%. 

Oversaw integration of custom content management system with Fidelity FutureStage website and transition of maintenance work over to client team. 

Assisted on key strategic recommendations to Subway Restaurants on iPhone applications, customer data collection and one-to-one marketing tactics.

Interactive Account Supervisor

Assisted in development of integrated CRM strategy for Tweeter, the largest home audio/video retailer in the US, that yielded over $12 million in incremental revenue during an 8-month engagement. 

Created data-driven analytics dashboard, and assisted on multiple DM campaigns that each yielded a profit-based ROI between 150% and 2,500%.

Mercury Marketing Partners

Rolled out the KB Clubhouse, a multi-channel customer loyalty program for KB Toys to over 600 stores nationwide, within 5 months. Program enrolled over 60,000 members within 6 months.

Expanded the interactive capability of the agency, including developing best-practice workflow processes, and coordinating a bi-weekly lunch seminar to help increase agency-wide understanding of online marketing concepts and trends.

Account Executive

Managed and executed strategic email campaigns from brainstorm to broadcast, reaching 3 million consumers for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines; part of a 5-person account team that generated over $35 million in annual revenue for client in 2006. 

Managed data capture implementation of major interactive customer acquisition campaigns, including HungrySuitcase.com microsite (http://archive.bigspaceship.com/hungrysuitcase/home.html). 

Implemented new processes and creative that allowed Arnold to produce offer-driven email campaigns in 3 days and direct mail pieces in 10 days, from project brief to broadcast/mail drop – a reduction in typical agency time-to-market of 400%.
