Jasmine McDermott

Jasmine McDermott is a seasoned entrepreneur turned digital marketer focused on creating meaningful content for organizations that occupy the intersection of education and emotional intelligence. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Jasmine has also studied International Business at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) Florianopolis, Brazil, and Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU) Bilbao, Spain.

With a passion for people and story-telling, Jasmine has worked in various capacities, including email marketing specialist at Torch, marketing manager at RocketSpace, people operations and project manager at Granular, and board member at Woman Within International. She has also worked as an ESL teacher at Divino Pastor and co-founder/chief marketing officer at Z Living Systems, where she honed her entrepreneurial mindset of innovation and initiative, which she believes can be applied to all facets of life.

With an interest in ideation, collaboration, writing, connection, and problem-solving, Jasmine leverages her experience deconstructing complex landscapes and finding core concepts, key patterns, and insights to create content that resonates with her clients' target audience. In addition, she has been a part of SLO HotHouse Accelerator at Cal Poly Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, where she further honed her entrepreneurial acumen.
