Jaron Gilinsky is the Founder and CEO of Storyhunter, a premiere market network for video and media professionals worldwide.
Before establishing Storyhunter, Jaron was a trailblazer in solo video journalism, creating numerous films for top media organizations.
In 2005, Jaron made history as the first independent American video journalist to report from within North Korea.
His team captured exclusive footage of significant events like the Israeli withdrawal and the subsequent Gaza Strip takeover by Islamic Jihad and Hamas, which culminated in the documentary, Disengagement.
Jaron's exceptional coverage of the Egyptian revolution for The New York Times earned him an Overseas Press Club award in Online Commentary in 2012.
