Jared Weiss is the President of Target Shipping Inc., an international freight shipping company.12 He joined the family business in 2012, much to the surprise and delight of his father, Tal Weiss, who founded the company in 1981.1 Jared has been serving as President since July 2012.3
Before joining Target Shipping, Jared gained experience in the financial sector. He worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs from 2007 to 2010 and then as an Analyst at Weeden Prime Services, LLC from 2010 to 2012.4
Jared now runs Target Shipping alongside his brother Dillon, who is the Director of Business Development, and with the continued support and involvement of their mother, Felicia Nash, who serves as the Operations Manager.12 The Weiss family continues to operate the business with the same dedication and principles instilled by Tal Weiss before his passing in 2017.1
