Jared Reimer

Jared Reimer is an accomplished entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Cascadeo, a cloud-centric professional services firm. He brings decades of real-world experience in large-scale distributed systems, cloud architecture and migration, deployment automation, monitoring systems, and complex networking. He has overseen Cascadeo's growth since inception, building an impartial team of experts with a strong focus on engineering elegant technical solutions to tackle business problems.

Jared studied MS, Computer Science & Engineering, and BS, Computer Science, at the University of Washington. He has had various leadership roles in reputable organizations, including Senior Technical Advisor at HBO "Silicon Valley" (Season 2.0), CTO, Interim CEO, and VP of Operations at The River Internet Access Co., and VP Operations at oz.net. Previously, Jared was an early pioneer in the ISP world, helping to build one of Seattle's first dial-up Internet Service Providers after running BBSs for many years.

When not focusing on his passion for engineering, Jared is a proud father of three amazing young children, an accomplished downhill skier, and enjoys world travel, camping, cooking, and SCUBA. He is a retired single-engine airplane pilot, a passionate electric vehicle enthusiast, and one of the co-founders of the world's largest free Internet exchange point, the Seattle Internet eXchange. Other personal interests include SETI, cryptocurrency, music, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
