Jared Kehe, a PhD in Biological Engineering from MIT, is a driven researcher and co-founder and CSO of Concerto Biosciences. Kehe, who is also a Siebel Scholar and NSF Graduate Research Fellow, is passionate about finding solutions to the world's most pressing issues in human health, bioremediation, and food production. His expertise lies in utilizing a screening technology he co-invented at MIT to identify beneficial cocultures or "ensembles" of microbes that can treat various diseases, including eczema. As a lab manager, undergraduate researcher, and teaching assistant at UC San Diego, Kehe gained extensive experience in bioengineering physiology and biological research that contributed to the development of his innovative screening technology. Kehe's ultimate goal is to create a healthier world by unlocking the potential of microbial ecology.
