Jared Donald

Jared Donald is a seasoned professional in the solar industry with a career spanning over 15 years. He has held senior executive positions in renowned solar companies globally, been a strategic consultant, and actively contributed as a board member in industry associations and government bodies. Over the past 5 years, his leadership has facilitated the sale, construction, and financing of more than 350 MW of solar PV and battery systems, focusing on commercial and agricultural partnerships in Canada and the USA. Jared's expertise extends across the renewable energy project life cycle, including project development, contract manufacturing, and business unit restructuring. His educational background includes a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The University of Calgary. Jared has held key roles such as EVP, Head of USA at Amp, President at Synergist Energy, and President, Canada and VP USA at Conergy, among others. He has also been actively involved in various organizations, notably as the former Chair of the Board of Directors at the Canadian Solar Industry Association and as a member of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO).
