Jared Alvord

Jared Alvord is a seasoned professional with expertise in Solar, Battery Storage, Electric Vehicles (E-mobility), and Sustainability strategies.

His experience includes various aspects of greenfield development in Solar and Battery storage, such as permitting, site lease negotiations, PPA negotiations, interconnection applications, financial modeling, and incentive applications.

Jared has been involved in Solar project-level M&A activities on both the buy and sell sides, as well as in raising corporate and project level capital.

He also possesses a strong background in commercial solar rooftop C&I projects and community solar projects, along with Electric Vehicle and Electric vehicle charging infrastructure strategy.

Jared Alvord pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Sustainable Innovation from the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business.

His undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont, where he achieved a GPA of 3.63 out of 4.

Currently, Jared serves as the Vice President of Strategic Development at Skyview Ventures.

His prior roles include being a Consultant in Hydrogen at Iron Mountain, Consultant in Solar & Storage at Skyview Ventures, Climate Corp Fellow at Environmental Defense Fund, and Founder of Mad River Solar.

Jared Alvord has also held positions as Principal of Mergers and Acquisitions for the Eastern US at NextEra Energy Resources, Senior Project Developer at Conergy, Commercial Solar Developer at SunBug Solar, and Residential Solar Developer at Sandri Energy.
