Janus Tiu is a talented UX/product designer based in Toronto, currently affiliated with Critical Mass and pursuing a part-time master's degree in Marketing at King's College London, UK. With a passion for solving real-world problems through creative and intuitive design, Janus brings a unique touch of artistry to his work. His portfolio showcases a clean and modern aesthetic developed through experiences across various sectors, including startups, non-profits, governments, tech firms, and consumer brands. Apart from his professional commitments, Janus mentors aspiring designers and fresh graduates seeking to enter the product design industry. Having a background in educational technology and psychotherapy, Janus conceived and established OpenRoom, a non-profit online education platform dedicated to promoting sexual health awareness and encouraging open discussions in Hong Kong. Through OpenRoom, Janus and his team have positively impacted over 400k users in a span of 5 years, garnering recognition from prestigious platforms like TEDx, MarieClaire, Yahoo!, and RTHK.
