Janine Shelffo

Janine McGrath Shelffo is the Group President and Chief Growth & Strategy Officer at Advance, a diversified private company involved in various media, communications, and technology sectors globally. She has been with Advance since September 2017, where she focuses on corporate strategy, acquisitions, and partnerships to enhance the company's growth and diversification initiatives. Additionally, she leads a multi-billion dollar capital deployment program aimed at expanding into new markets.

• Education: Janine earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
• Previous Experience: Before joining Advance, she spent over 25 years in investment banking, primarily advising companies in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. Her most recent role was co-head of the TMT group at UBS Investment Bank.

Janine is a long-time yoga practitioner with a keen interest in mindfulness and meditation, particularly regarding their impact on work-life balance and corporate leadership.
