Janice Park
Producer at Made Up Stories
Janice Park is an experienced television and film executive who has recently joined Onyx Collective, Disney's content brand focused on creators of color and underrepresented voices, as Vice President of Scripted Series.1 Prior to this role, she served as Senior Vice President of Development and Production at Made Up Stories, Bruna Papandrea's production company.1
During her time at Made Up Stories, Park oversaw TV and film projects for major streaming platforms and networks, including Amazon, Apple, Hulu, HBO, Netflix, and Universal.1 She also produced the original series "Long Slow Exhale" for Spectrum Originals and BET.1
Park began her career as an assistant at UTA in the Independent Film Packaging Group and TV Literary Department.1 She is an active supporter of organizations promoting diversity in the entertainment industry, including CAPE, NALIP, and Colour Entertainment.1
Regarding her education, Janice Park holds a Bachelor of Arts in Information Science and Film from Cornell University, which she attended from 2010 to 2014.2 She also attended Flintridge Preparatory School from 2004 to 2010.2
In her current role at Onyx Collective, Park will be responsible for developing and producing scripted series and specials across various programming categories and formats.1
