Janice Burns is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in education, human resources, talent development, and entrepreneurship. She is dedicated to helping individuals access quality education and skill-building experiences that empower them to realize their career goals and achieve economic equity.

Burns has an M.P.A. in Health Care Administration from New York University, a B.A. in Psychology from Wesleyan University, and completed the Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Throughout her career, Burns has held many high-level positions at Mastercard, a global financial services corporation. During her time there, she served as Chief Learning Officer, Chief Diversity Officer, and Senior Vice President of Human Resources. She also worked as a Vice President of Diversity and Work-life for the company.

Currently, Burns is the Chief People Officer at Degreed, a learning experience platform that helps businesses acquire the skills they need to grow and succeed. Burns previously served as the Chief Career Experience Officer at Degreed before taking on her current role.

Burns is a visionary leader who has developed innovative talent solutions and cultural initiatives. She is also a strategic HR professional and a caring people manager who brings a positive and playful energy to the workplace.
