Janey Macdonald

Janey Macdonald is a fourth-year doctoral student in Special Education at Vanderbilt University. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from Pitzer College and a master's degree in Special Education from Vanderbilt University. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as a special education teacher in Nashville, taught English in A Coruña, Spain, and served as a behavior analyst at a facility school in Denver, Colorado.
Her research interests focus on the treatment of severe challenging behavior and the implementation of effective behavioral interventions within school settings. Macdonald is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and enjoys activities such as listening to true crime podcasts, hiking with her dog Winston, and exploring McDougals.12
