Janet Thomas Oppedisano is an accomplished professional with an educational background in environmental and evolutionary ecology, behavorial ecology, and biology.

She holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental & Evolutionary Ecology, Behavorial Ecology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Columbus State University.

With a wealth of experience, Janet has held various key positions in different organizations. She is currently the Director of CSTEP and STEP at SUNY Morrisville, specializing in Agricultural Business.

Previously, she served as the Director of LITS Academic Digital Initiatives, Director of Digital Scholarship Services, and Director of the Digital Humanities Initiative (DHi) at Hamilton College.

Janet also has experience as the Co-Director of the Digital Humanities Initiative (DHi) and the Associate Director of Instructional Technology at Hamilton College.

Her expertise extends to roles such as a Summer Visiting Scientist at Darling Marine Center, Instructor in Biological Sciences at the University of New Orleans, and Anatomy & Physiology Instructor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Furthermore, she has worked as a Research Associate at Louisiana State University and gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Louisiana.
