Janet Salm is a seasoned senior leader with a wealth of experience in directing research and evaluation initiatives to drive strategic decision-making and maximize impact for mission-driven organizations.

Currently serving as the managing director of research at Strada Institute for the Future of Work, Janet leads a dedicated research team in creating, refining, and communicating insights related to the future of learning and work.

Before her role at Strada, Janet played a pivotal role in leading strategy measurement and analytical modeling endeavors for the postsecondary success team at the prestigious Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, amassing two decades of expertise in evaluation, data analysis, and impactful storytelling.

With a comprehensive educational background that includes a Master of Public Administration (MPA) specializing in public policy and nonprofit management from UW - Evans School of Public Administration, as well as a BA in Philosophy and Women's Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Janet Salm is well-equipped to tackle complex challenges in the education sector.
