Janet Hopkins is a highly experienced CEO and leader with over two decades of experience across the nonprofit, government, and private sectors. She is an expert in building and leading teams, creating empowering work environments, and supporting organizations that make a positive impact on communities. Janet has a passion for mental health and has worked on several groundbreaking projects to classify and map mental health and alcohol and drug services across Western Australia, South Eastern Melbourne, and Western NSW.

As the former General Manager of Mindful Employer Australia, Janet played a pivotal role in rebuilding the organization by driving sales, establishing foundational business structures, and helping organizations create mentally healthy workplaces. She also served as the CEO of Lantern Mental Health, where she led a Disability and Employment Service Provider and Registered Training Organization through a time of significant change, including a rebrand, the development of new programs, and a restructuring and merger.

Janet has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University of Technology. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Yoga Australia and previously held leadership positions at Veterinary Practitioners Regulation Board of Victoria and SANE Australia.
