Jane Lu is an Australian businesswoman, best known as the founder and CEO of Showpo, an online fashion retailer. Born on June 12, 1986, Lu grew up as the only child of Chinese-Australian parents. She began her career in the corporate world with an accounting cadetship at KPMG and later worked as an analyst for Ernst & Young. After a failed pop-up shop venture that left her in debt, Lu pivoted to e-retailing, launching Showpo in 2010, initially under the name Show Pony, which was later changed due to trademark issues.23
Under her leadership, Showpo has grown significantly, becoming a global fashion brand known for its trend-driven styles and strong social media presence, boasting over three million followers. The company has received numerous accolades, including the Online Retailer of the Year award and recognition for its international fulfillment and social commerce initiatives.12
