Jane Damron

Jane Damron is a Senior Lecturer at Baylor University with a strong background in Interpersonal Communication, Nonverbal Communication, Small Group Communication, and Public Speaking.

She is a dedicated social support researcher with accolades such as being recognized as the 2019 Collins Outstanding Professor and a 2019-2020 Baylor Fellow.

Aside from her role at Baylor, Jane serves as the Director of Social Media at the Baylor Department of Communication.

Furthermore, she extends her expertise as a freelance communication consultant and executive speaking coach.

Jane holds a Ph.D. in Interpersonal Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in Interpersonal Communication from Baylor University, and a B.S. in Public Relations from Toccoa Falls College.

Her experience includes teaching positions at various institutions such as being a Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, and Adjunct Instructor in Communication at Baylor University, Central Texas College, and Temple College respectively.
